Actel推出用於系統內編程設備的便攜式編程器
flashPro是一個對應於ProASIC PLUS和ProASIC系列產品的閃存設備編程器。可選的
USB介面或是平行介面，被內置在簡易的
flashPro的GUI裡。
對於ProASIC PLUS設備來說，使用平行介面的編程速度相比使用USB介面的時間要快上
1.6倍。
EPP 和ECP平行介面的設置都可使用。
flashPro編程器擁有自己獨立的電力供應，因此，目標板(the target board)並不需
要提供動力以支援ISP。
Actel公司和First Silicon Solutions (FS2)公司宣佈開始發售
flash Pro編程器。它
是為Actel公司的基於閃存的ProASIC現場可編程門陣列(FPGA)系列產品提供系統內編
程功能(ISP)的器件，包括最新的ProASIC Plus系列產品在內。
FS2公司通過與Actel密切合作,已發佈了一套完整的編程解決方案，使設計人員在為工
業、通訊、網路和航空電子市場設計高度複雜的設備時有了更多的途徑來訪問ISP特定
用途積體電路(ASIC)。
這種系統內編程功能利用IEEE標準1149.1 Joint Test Action Group(JTAG)介面，使
器件能夠在安裝到印刷電路板(PCB)上之後再進行編程。它簡化了引腳數繁多的器件的
處理，消除了插座，可使電路板達到更高的性能。
flash Pro還支援標準測試和編程語
言(STAPL)，使該編程器能夠獨立於任何一種特定的編程算法。這種

flashPro
The
flashPro programmer is a programmer for both the ProASICPLUS and
ProASIC families of
flash devices. The choice of USB port or parallel
port is made in the simple
flashPro software GUI. For ProASICPLUS
devices, programming times are approximately 1.6 times faster when using
the parallel port than when using the USB port. Both EPP and ECP parallel
port configurations can be used. The
flashPro programmer has its own
power supply, so the target board does not need to be powered up to support
ISP.
Multiple
flashPro programmers can be connected via USB hubs to a single PC,
allowing a convenient, low cost, volume production programming
environment to be set up for target boards containing ProASICPLUS or
ProASIC devices.
